Well folks, After day one, York is winning their division and they are only a few points behind for to winning the level 6 grand championships. We will have to see how our scores stack up for round two. Will keep you updated. York Cheer

Cheerleading Coach Needed at a High School Hi, My name is Mirela Kucinic, I am a teacher at St. Augustine Secondary School in Brampton. We are currently in desperate need of a cheerleading coach. The girls have been practicing since September and practice runs until June. There are 24 of them and they are a great group of girls. Is there anybody at the university that would like to earn volunteer hours? It would look really good if they plan on going to teachers college and need hours. This would be greatly appreciated. Hi everyone, theres an open gym night coming up at the gym I trained at and coach at, it is one night only. When: October 28th from 5pm-6:30pm Cost: $20 per person Location: Futures Gymnastics - 6991 Millcreek Rd Unit 8 Phone number: (905) 819-9042 This may seem expensive, however the facility is one of the best in Ontario and allows for great learning opportunities. In the area of tumbling, we have two full size trampolines, two rod floors, one tumble track (long trampoline) and one full size sprung floor as well as on almost full size, one goes into the pit, the other into a resi (big squishy mat). Hi, This is Ankie from the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors OHL hockey team, I'm also a recent graduate from York University's Communications Studies program! Our hockey club is currently looking for members to form our promotional team, which will basically function as a cheer team during our regular season home games at the Hershey Centre, to help make the experience more fun and interactive for the fans and audience. I'm wondering if anyone you know would be interested in trying out for this position, or if there's any way you could announce this or forward to interested parties, etc.? We are hoping to hire people in time for our home opener on Friday, October 5th versus the Windsor Spitfires.
