The York Cheerleaders would like to thank everyone who brought their cars out to our summer car wash in Markham yesterday. We made just under $500. Thank you all again for your support.
The York Lions earned a TOP DAWG award by placing 4th overall, in the Level 6/Elite Cheer Division. This ranking is from all teams who competed in this division throughout the year with the Great Lakes Cheer And Dance Company. Great work Lions.

York Cheerleading Participates in Recent Study.
In 2009, the York Cheerleading team was asked to participate in a study to track the incidence of injuries in our sport. This one year project was headed by the Children's Institute in conjunction with a variety of cheer companies in the US. The goal of this was to comprise data from schools and all-star teams in the US and Canada to track obtain new stats on injuries in our sport. Please take the chance, to read it, learn from it and decrease the incidence of injuries in your program.
